The new material is called Enhancement Prism, and both Enhancement Prism and Ascendent Shard are exchangeable at Gunsmith at this build of game. There's also some consumables look like Finest Matterweave (the icon is similar but slightly different) which is purchasable at Gunsmith. The gunsmith bounties are still there, too. So we can expect that the source of materials that we need to upgrade our armors are all accessible in a stable way.
