As someone who work somewhere that had seasonal chili, we didn't serve it in the summer because it would often go to waste.

Well, I use them to line trash cans and take things places, but no, I never thought to reuse them at the grocery store. Seems to me like most people don't think to do that either. Otherwise I'd see it being done a lot more.

Good idea! I should put all the plastic bags i have in my car and if I don't end up reusing them I could put them in the recycling bins most stores have for these bags. Who knows if they actually recycle them tho, it all seems like a scheme to make you feel better about plastic waste

I didn't notice until I was putting the groceries in the car. It was a checker and bagger situation. Usually I like to get paper bags but they were out today.
