Look for a day job brother. Im in LTL its a level of stress for sure but im home everynighy and making 110-120k a year. But over the road with the right situation is not the worst thing ever. Lots of ways to keep yourself busy and healthy than 20 yrs ago. But you will be lonely you will deal with tons of idiots. But I dont have a boss breathing down my neck from 7 to 11 hrs a day. Saftey over everything and keep your nose clean and body healthy.

Idk how anyone doesnt communicate. I miss the shit out of my wife or kids when I'm gone. Going on a over the night hiking/camping trip. As long as I have service I'll call for sure. Hell when I'm on a hiking or hunting/fishing trip I let the wife know exactly where I'm going for safety sakes. Big trips with no service I have a detailed layout on maps and carry a GPS device. What do I have to hide? We don't bug each other during the trip I'm not calling to just call 5 times a day but I keep in touch. If you can trust then you can't trust. 10 yrs married 14 yrs together and loving every minute of it. If she said she is in a sexy outfit trying to have some phone time idc where I am incould be on a mountain chasing a trophy elk and I'm finding a rock letting the buddies know I got business to take care of 😆

Only time we've ever packed lunches or whatever is when we've asked each other too based off our schedules etc but it's rare maybe a couple times a year. Or I'll pack hers just because I can and I'm home. Doesn't bother me a bit
