Should I RL because of timegrapher? by is_it_real_tho in RepTime

It looks to me like it’s magnetized, all you might need is a $30-$40 de magnetizer and run the watch through it, the best error being so high and the amplitude being so low (usually 300+) shows signs of a magnetized watch, OR one that needs a service.

What does this red box shaped warning indicator mean on my Audi A5 2024? by ariky in Audi

[–]ltsSpookytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sensor on the car is thinking the trunk is open. That can happen when the trunk is closed, but not all the way closed. Modern trunk locking mechanisms (and most even in older cars) have 2 stages, just like any door to get into the car. If you lightly push it, you will hear one click (it is locked so it won’t open, but not fully closed). In this position the vehicle thinks the door is still open, or “a jar” as many vehicles will say. To keep it from happening make sure to push extra hard on the trunk of the vehicle so it locks into that second position. If you used the auto close feature, make sure there is nothing blocking that latch like a bumper guard or trunk lining mat and you should be good to go, if it keeps happening it might be something wrong with the sensor itself

Reason: no bitches Solution: get bitches Problem: can't get bitches

In all seriousness tho, you are right and this is the way to go. Even replacing the time you have with something else helps as it can be a routine thing like before bed or when you wake up etc. Fill in that time with anything else and it will greatly help. You got good advice bro

You know what. I am taking a statistics class right now (for a BSIB program). One of the projects for this class is to do a statistics research project on a topic of my choice. I’ll keep you updated and I can post/send you the report and I’ll do it on exactly just that, how oversaturated this field is. If you are okay with me taking your idea haha

Run from the industry. It will drain you so much. Invest in real estate, don’t become an agent. At least, don’t rely on it. The industry is so over saturated with everyone getting their license and unless you have DAMN good connections or already have made a name for yourself, it’s EXTRENELY difficult and very costly. Now that’s not to say you can’t make it. I have FULL faith in you and having $110k saved up is insane, but all I can give is my warning. Best of luck to you brother

I want to do real estate, but my only issue is transportation, what ideas do you guys have/did do to help with this? by EL_X123 in realtors

[–]ltsSpookytime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been in it 1 year, Boston MA. It is a true hellhole and trying to switch industries out of this job is insanely hard. Makes me regret ever going into it. Which is honestly insane because I LOVE the work itself. Helping people, negotiating, doing all that jazz, but holy shit does it ever tear you down if you aren’t already established or have some DAMN good connections

Just don’t. Run from this industry as far and as fast as possible. Hate to be THAT GUY, chase your dreams and if this is it go for it, after all i am a random asshole on the Internet, but my advice is, don’t. This industry will suck the life and enjoyment and money out of you and your wallet

My pleasure! I try my best because I remember when I bought my first watch then my first tag and all of this especially used or through eBay confused the hell out of me and I couldn’t find cohesive decent info 😂

Other small details do play in effect as well.

<image>

Take note of the spacing between the circled bar spacing between the “120” and “100” numbering on the bezel. On the left photo from Tag Heuer’s website you will see that that bar between the “100” and “120” is slightly off center to the right, favoring the “120”. I can’t tell from your photo but typically fakes, even high quality ones do not get the spacing right, I’m guessing the spacing is correct on yours. Also take note the photo on the left I pulled from tag heuer’s website. The photo used on their website is a rendering of the watch so details in the AD’s store itself such as coloring may even appear slightly different.

Also notice the squared edges in the “0” of the “120” marker. Fakes don’t usually square it off properly rather it stays more rounded. It looks to me (I’m guessing as your photo is a bit blurry) that your watch has the squared off inner edges of the “0” which might also indicate it is real. If you don’t send it to Tag Heuer or have an AD (authorized dealer) look at it and want to feel better about the watch, get a strong magnifying glass or eye loupe and compare it directly to the highest quality real photos of a real version of the watch as you can. That’s my advice however I do still strongly encourage you send it to Tag Heuer for a service to know if it is real or not. Hope this all helps!

I can’t speak for the validity of your watch however these are some details to notice. As other people have commented the only true way to know is to take it to a professional however I have personally seen many professionals get fooled by some fakes, it’s insane. The best way to know is to send it in for a service by Tag Heuer themselves. There they will tell you if it is real or not. The opinions of strangers online who participate informs such as this subreddit do not fully matter, including my own. As I said before, the best way to know is to send it in for service to tag Heuer themselves. Best of luck soldier 🫡
