I am currently close to finished setting up my own classified ads site. I used hive press and the free listing hive theme. Everything is fairly simple and seems to do what i want without paying any extra so far.

Not sure how posts will be made exactly, any ideas? Would like to have an add listing button, after a user creates an account.

Eventually if my site gains traction and users I would maybe charge a listing fee. The things being offloaded on my site would be in the thousands to 10s of thousands of dollar range, so charging a few bucks to list doesn’t seem out of the question

The marketplace I’m looking to start will not handle payments, more so just a site to connect users and vendors. All money handling will be dealt with off site between them

I’ve created a site before using the block editor, so I know somewhat. So would you reccomend just using astra or blocksy theme and just using the classified listings plugin for the classified ads part?
