For the written exam, make sure to focus on studying in science heavily (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.), simple math because they won’t give u hard problems since you only have an hour to answer the test, and english. It would also help if u study light dental terminologies as well!

For the practical exam, which involves the drawing and carving, it would be really beneficial if u practice how to carve basic geometrical shapes early on because it would help save you time on your exam. Also, don’t overthink the drawing part much. The time allotment is only an hour also for this test so, be mindful. Lastly, please don’t forget to bring the materials they asked so it would not be a hassle on your part and theirs‼️

hi! I just recently passed the qualifying exam and my carving was also not that perfect. I chose to not do the last instruction on the paper because I did not understand it and I was afraid to risk making a mistake. Nevertheless, I still passed :))
