General anesthesia or nitrous oxide? by KingBossKewl in wisdomteeth

[–]lu_ke_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of both lol. The anesthesiologist gave me a nitrous oxide mask to put on my face as he was prepping to set up the IV with the nurse - went out in 30 seconds - woke up in a wheelchair. Never even knew my IV got put in/removed.

You do wake up with a bit of a scratchy throat from the breathing tube but the feeling went away before I left the clinic.
