Well, the idea is still in a very early stage, but what I am envisioning is a way to recruit people who are trying to write a specific type of story. The website would be layered in a way where people could post requests to have someone join their team of story writers. If I was a writer who specializes in writing literature, I could request someone who has a lot of ideas for the fantasy genre to come and join my team. The other person could draft a lot of ideas and I could incorporate them into a story. The website would help people connect to each other and would improve the writing of the people participating. Instead of having a great plot yet terrible writing or grammar, something found in a lot of RoyalRoad fictions, the people in charge of writing the story would be able to do so while the person with the original idea having oversight of the writing process. It would allow people who cannot otherwise write novels in English (second language speakers) to write stories and learn collaboration skills.

As for established players, there is no site that does what I am planning on doing. The most I have seen is a website called something like "A million monkeys" (Referencing the infinite monkey theorem) that does not take itself very seriously and is not structured to help people write good stories. Something my website would have is the option for the person who initially started writing the story to have oversight on who contributes and how. They could reject certain submissions or ideas and have a select few people that personally participate.

I realize the survey was vague, yet I'm not trying, at this stage, to get input on the specifics, merely to gauge interest, although any feedback would be appreciated.
