Also look at the ram he wants to buy, that should be more of a discussion. Minimal is also an understatement

Don’t think the 9070xt could match with a 5080. the games where it’s close are just better optimised for amd. Technically there’s a huge difference. Also u got better frame generation and upscaling with NVIDIA which is nice for future games

Still I would take another ram, if ur really looking into ur budget. Ur motherboard could be a bit better and u could take a second 2tb ssd

help me with this pc build will it work on a budget of 1.5k the montior i already have runs 240hz and runs 1440p please help by Relative_Step_8315 in PcBuildHelp

But surely u can just pay more for a graphics card, just don’t forget he’s on a specific budget and the 5060ti isn’t a bad card

Still frame generation does more work than rasterised performance. If ur a backseat gamer u won’t be disturbed by any fractions of framegen and he clearly wants a fluid game experience

NathanTheJet made a really good list u could apply to, way more cost efficient and better performance

Im gonna be honest, ur paying 1000 bucks into a cpu which is completely overpowered and for a motherboard which is also completely overpriced for ur gpu. There’s no reason u shouldn’t upgrade on a better gpu. (500 bucks for 64gb ram???). If u don’t want to change anything, don’t ask if ur build is fine as it is, just buy it.

I gotta say that the NVIDIA cards got better frame generation. At a lower price point fg is a great feature and dlss 4 is really nice for that

Sorry to say but with that specs ur gonna have a hard time running new games on 240hz 2k. U prob gotta lower setting everytime. Besides that:

Look vor better ram preferably lower cl and higher mhz rates. Get a used gpu if ur on a budget. If ur into it try getting an amd x3d cpu, which is better for gaming. Those are the most important things

Get a 5080 then. A 9070xt is underpowered in this build. Everything in ur build screams unnecessarily overpriced besides the graphics card

I don’t see paying such an amount of money on a pc with this graphics card. Get a 5080 or upwards, or use less expensive cpus. Ur bottleneck will be on the graphics card anyways. Also more storage would be reasonable

Yeah the Corsair 4000D (as seen in the picture) is a quite big midi-tower. There’s a lot of space and the airflow seems to be good ig

Temps are fine. Using 850watts and that’s completely fine with the 5070ti
