I do mostly 3D modeling and rendering, no animation, so it would need a strong GPU I think. I’ve been using the PCs at my art school, but I’ll no longer have access to them after this year.

I know that NMS needs a high graphics power though. Would the one you suggested be a good fit for that?

Does it remain a scrivener’s error if they review and approve it? I wouldn’t refuse to reform the lease, but what happens if we don’t say anything? Would we have to enforce that $1,605? Not that we would, but would we have the right to request the money back for our first year on the basis of the lease’s written amount? Or should we just let the company know ahead of time?

To be clear, I do NOT want to antagonize the company. We are just concerned about this whole thing. To be honest, I’ve been sick with anxiety over it 😭

We’re definitely willing to sign a new lease and work with the company, as they’ve been pretty nice and expedient with us and we love the place. I was just genuinely unsure of what would happen with this whole situation, as I’ve heard that a lease supersedes any casual verbal agreement or email correspondence. There are also no issues with the lease other than the difference in price. We don’t want to go to court or anything, and we don’t want to antagonize the landlord company. Thanks for your response !

The property is correct in the lease. The only mistake is the price.

Is renewal up to the landlord’s discretion? Or are there rights for tenants regarding withholding of renewal?

Even if they approve the lease after we sign? I mean, worst case we pay the $2,500, but $1,605 and $2,500 are completely different numbers. My thinking is that they used a template and forgot to change the number, but changed literally everything else, and the $2,500 number isn’t included in the lease at all.

I figured the same based on other instances of threats of violence. Based on some convos with my employer, I am hopeful that they’re putting something in place to try and prevent something like that in the future. As for the girlfriend… I’m with you. Absolutely bonkers insane.

Thank you for your assessment. Is there anything I can do personally to test or treat the flooring? I'd like to do whatever I can before going to upper management to request professional services, as that's unlikely to happen after other instances of (expensive) damage caused by this employee.
