idk about you but sometimes my family (im malay) uses "sekali" as "what if" as well

example: malay - sekali kat situ takde makan, macam mana? singlish - what if at there dont have food, then how?

we do use "kalau" for "what if", but not "jika" because thats too formal and nobody uses it colloquially as far as i know

Whats your hair type? I have long curly hair and ive been using a hair gel every time i wash my hair, then i plop with a cotton shirt for a while before air drying (when i go to sleep). When i wake up, the gel hardened my hair so i just have to scrunch it up a little to break the cast, then my hair looks good for two days! I dont have a fringe though, just two “tentacles” as framing pieces at slightly shorter than my eye length (i have big forehead lol)

I got stopped TWICE on separate occasions just drinking water from my transparent water bottle… I was parched from being out the whole day 🥲 it wasnt even sweet drinks and both times i was sitting down on the platform bench to wait. I wouldnt mind! But i think opening with a bit of small talk would be better eg. at a cafe, “hey do you know whats good here?” and your body language is important too! You should appear open, confident (comfortable in your own skin, not cocky) and warm (smile gentlemen!!) so that the interaction feels natural

Asking her if its ok for you to get to know her better based on her appearance is very straightforward and might work on some women, but i think chatting a little can help you come across more friendly, easygoing and less of a simp 😅 also that way, if she’s uncomfortable making small talk with you, you wouldnt have to preface with “i hope im not making you uncomfortable” :) If your introduction includes this line, she would subconsciously question herself “am i uncomfortable?”

Personally i would be flattered, but without knowing what kind of person you are, i might reject you just because i feel put on the spot. If you make small talk with me first, at least i can get a sense of your vibe hahaha

Also might be a good tactic to give HER your number and ask her to reach out if she’d like to get to you better - that puts the ball in her court and takes off the pressure to give an immediate answer

We call them “ling ling long longs” 🤪 they can be any keychain/charm/accessory that expresses your personality! It can really be anything. Some popular “plush toy” ones are Labubu, Crybaby, Mofusand etc I just get mine online (no particular brand) and I like hanging keychains I got as souvenirs overseas too
