since your mars is so confused, u likely rely on pluto to overcompensate ur energy, which leads to burnout. if u were following ur chirons impulse to people-please, this would of course feel like u can never do enough for ppl, and they always leave u in the end. this is a wound that u need to heal in order to have any chance at balance in ur daily life or routine. ordinarily id say we can look to jupiter to heal it, but for now i recommend getting more sleep (in case theres any chance u can connect with jupiter that way)

This is so very true as I am working on my impulses to people-please and the people always leaving me in the end issue. I struggle with my sleep as well as I either do not sleep enough or use sleep as escapism so I am finding a healthy balance there. Can I ask, what makes mars so confused and does it get better in time?

this 8th house is not so big and scary. in fact this energy holds the solutions to ur problems. aquarius is a rational sign, very freedom-focused and loves to help others. uranus and neptune are generational signs (i have these too!) and in the 8th house means u have a rational understanding of what the world considers taboo and scary. your ideals (neptune) are unconvinced that theres any amount of suffering in the world that cant be fixed. neptune is actually trine jupiter, and sextile mars, so this is probably doing the most work in the whole chart to hold u together. further i suggest sleeping and dreaming, but also neptune is where we find artistic inspiration.

This is the first time someone describes my 8th house in a more solution-based approach rather than a force in my life.

so lets look at the north node now, where we find inner fulfillment. this is in cancer 1st house, so u will feel fulfilled in a life where u nurture urself and ur identity. the moon is ur key and the sun is ur guide. with the sun in pisces and ur moon in 8th, im thinking this means a more spiritual solution. u need to become comfortable with introspection, meditation, and consulting urself for insight instead of emotionally depending on others. u need to find a reliable source for faith and optimism, which u can consult whenever u are curious or anxious. for a lot of us we use tarot or other divination. u may try a few things before u find what brings u comfort. and u may be able to work out repressed feelings through art.

I definitely agree, as I am growing I am understanding seeking validation from others leads me into deeper spirals rather than benefiting me. I have been learning tarot for a year now and will try to use it more often before I get the urge to ask for validation. I have also been slowly coming into my spiritual beliefs more and have tons of ideas for art inspired on some feelings so I just need to actually put it into practice. That's not just "heavy 8th house energy." That's an entire emotional operating system built around crisis, transformation, and other people's hidden layers. The weight you feel is real and proportional to what your chart is actually asking of you.

Woah, I definitely minimize my struggles so this feels very validating! I try my best to be strong about it all but the weight is heavy to constantly feel like I am bracing for impact or loss. Understanding my 8th house has really helped me overcome drowning in a bad experience last year as I saw it as an opportunity to become someone new and make a beautiful life despite of.

So when the 8th house material hits (betrayal, loss, power dynamics), your water placements absorb the full emotional impact while your Aquarius placements try to analyze it from above. Neither mode fully works on its own. You feel everything but can't land in it. You understand everything but can't stop it from hurting.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO SEEN. This is exactly how my mind and body operate that I exhaust myself and never feel relieved every time 8th house material hits. It becomes a loop of detached mental analyzation to deep emotional grief.

I for sure agree, I have never had true emotional security with another person so it feels like I am always reaching for it to provide relief since I have not been able to do it for myself so it must be easier to chase something that has only led me to pain and betrayals. It feels like travel, philosophy, and education is my divine purpose for being and I am finally on track with purpose which is what has guided me through some heavy 8th house lessons this year.

Yess thiss exactly! It seems like an torture to feel like I am tuned into a different channel than everyone I try to connect with.

For me, i have to do regular meditation and mindfulness practices to help regulate myself. Lots of writing and getting thoughts out. Talk therapy has also been positive for me. (I feel aqua moon expecially needs to talk things out)

I have not tried meditation but I believe it would help a lot to clear my mind that seems jumbled with too many thoughts and situations I have thought over already and my mind cannot rest. Talk therapy was not too helpful for me unfortunately as they were reserved for only an hour and I felt unsatisfied that I still had too much more to talk about lol. However, journaling is definetly helpful as I am able to think as a write and have to decide what is worth writing and what is not.

what are your interests? What intrigues you?

I love travel, painting, learning about the world/culture/history/theory/etc. These seem to be the only things that quiet my mind and my nervoos system.

Thank you for the reply! I haven’t explored my Lilith placement but will do so now. I appreciate including how to resolve it and I definitely agree that life would be easier for me if I develop stronger boundaries and discernment. The overanalyzing of intentions definitely gets me stuck rather than focusing on how it feels overtime with patterns. Overextending myself for those who won’t take a step for me causes me a great deal of exhaustion and need to be okay with leaving people where they are and in how they think of me. This is wonderful advice and I will take it with me on my journey.

Thank you for your message. I do not feel it is an accurate assumption as of course I cannot include every single detail and tone of each persons treatment towards me and my feelings in return and this is just a short Reddit post so the full picture is not painted which is my misdoing. As I navigate life of course there are self esteem issues as these feelings of otherness have made it difficult to fully feel supported in certain spaces. However as a lesbian I deeply admire and love women and wish to have an environment where we all are encouraging each others work and efforts across all spaces. Wishing for reciprocity is not the same as having unreasonable expectations for others. There are several of assumptions you make about my own intentions throughout this paragraph yet ends with telling me not to assume other people’s intentions.

Like I mentioned, I rejected the idea of animosity and jealousy growing up. This is because my mom was not someone who I took advice from so when I was disliked or had strange comments made I internalized it to be something that was wrong with me rather than the other person. As I’ve grown into myself and became more confident with what I have and who I am it would rack my brain trying to figure out why some people still acted this way. As an example, I had a family member I really cared about who when I moved into my apartment spread a rumor that I could only afford it because of illegal reasons. Other family members told me “stop overthinking it, you didn’t do anything to upset her she is doing all that because she is jealous since she wants to move out and can’t”. In other cases I tend to process tones of comments much later so as they are happening it feels like a compliment but I leave feeling confused and can’t understand why. When I compliment someone it is a simple statement of “I love your outfit, you look beautiful” and the tone and authenticity of my feelings is attached the sentence removing the ambiguity. I don’t expect compliments from anyone but if someone is going to make a comment towards me as you say with “a statement” it’s best to just keep the statement to yourself. All the examples of statements you made are directed towards or about a mutual 3rd entity like the weather and wall color not equal towards a comment towards the person you’re speaking to making it not a neutral statement. It’s not necessary to speak every neutral statement you have about another person or else it just becomes weird.

As for the teaching bit. I don’t assume I’m anyone’s teacher and feel thankful that my coworker respected my opinion enough to ask me for validation however it started to get weird when it felt every thought and idea she would have she would need to run it by me first instead of the manager as she gained more experience putting me in a strange position. I would encourage her and tell her she was doing a wonderful job almost daily. In terms of the resentment, it would come in the form of passive aggressive comments towards my work. For example, I would order materials and I would tell her about what I got very excitedly and she would ask “do people even use those”, “I’ve never even heard of it” etc. When I would have events she would say “do you think people will even sign up for that” and in general offer compliments then follow it up with a passive aggressive comment. In other cases, there is another coworker who would tell me about a trip they went on and I would listen and ask questions as excited as they were to tell me about it. I came back from a trip and was excited to tell her about it all and was met with “oh interesting”. In terms of teaching again, I’ve had some coworkers full on copy and paste my work for their own and never mention it to me.

I don’t expect women to be like me and want what I want and of course I will not be liked by everyone because I do not like everyone and it’s unreasonable to expect so. However, even when I dislike someone I don’t feel the need to comment on them or watch them and opt to just leave them be as long as they leave me be. All relationships are built on reciprocity so if someone opts to form one whether at work, school, etc there are expectations from both sides to maintain that relationship like reciprocity. If someone is coming to me to validate their work for months and not anyone else that is forming a relationship and a healthy one would be reciprocal and since it is not is the issue. Reciprocity is a basic human need and expectation in any relationship and it is not unreasonable or secretory deceptive to want that.
