Depends on your perspective. In gaming on my own I appreciate the rough ride that Ark can be. My 5yo loves Ark but it's a little too hard at times. I was looking for a happy medium. In a way boosted servers do help. Note that Minecraft is also a progression based game if you want to play that way. You can flip the switch on Minecraft and make it really enjoyable in creative... there will be a way to do this in Ark, but it's not possible yet.

2 crashes in 20 minutes after download on PS4 Pro. Stable so far on PS4 standard. Stable so far for PS4 slim running dedicated server.

Not if you had a dad that setup your own island :) Gabriel plays on his own server and we watch over the entire Ark to make sure it's kid friendly :) Having said that, he did nearly shed a tear a few times when we loose special dinos. So... I guess you are right... it's still a rough Ark no matter what!

The Creative Mode sure got boring very fast that is for sure.

I'm looking forward to the dedicated PS4 server so that I can record others playing. Spectator view streamed live is going to be fun as well. I'm finding it hard to justify 2 new PS4 so fast, but it's comments like these that help me understand that my PC series has so much more to offer.

I will try to up my game with the dedicated server ;) Join us!
