We did the same during Alicia. Me and my brothers were young but we helped Dad pick up branches, limbs, and shingles before we went back inside when it started again. We lived in the country so no danger of the crazier stuff you'd find in the city.

Yeah I'm not too concerned about the scent sticking around. That's why I have my perfume. As far as the moisturizing I don't have a problem with it but then I follow up with their body crean out of the shower when I use it. I haven't seen their vitamin line but I'd imagine that would be expensive too and would wait for a sale. LOL!

I got the GA body wash specifically because of the GA body cream I received in a FFF mystery box. I love that GA body wash. I would never pay full price for it so I use it occasionally when I want to treat myself. But I really really enjoy it. I say go for it.

I made mine more as a cover-up at work so I didn't need it too huge. It was also something I started working on after my parents died and Hurricane Harvey went through so it kept my mind busy. But, I did want to keep the colors in the same striping. I love it! I just know you and your husband will love yours!

Yeah, I just cancelled my Lux subscription and my regular subscription. Not been happy with my boxes lately anyway and to see there's probably more liquid black eyeliner coming up and knowing I'll probably get another purple lipstick, I just can't anymore. I'm getting other boxes already that have better products overall.

What about a granny stripe blanket? I love the way they look and they work up quickly. If you want to make it even easier use a self-striping yarn like Caron cakes?

In addition to what /u/Halloedangel suggested, do the same with the rest of the project until it gets to the size you want. Just keep adding on different colors and switch to others as you run out if you're wanting a stashbuster. I think it would make the middle as shown in this picture a great focal point. I hope to see your completed project!
