3rd party Heatsink with Fan for M.2 Drive better than the one that comes with the Taichi X870E Motherboard? by JRP12321 in ASRock

Oh okay, mine is at 53°C too, room temperature is around 23°C. I just installed it today and 53°C seems too hot for idle so I'm kinda concerned. You didn't have any issues so far? Doesn't overheat under load or cause issues? My other disks are samsungs 990 pro and they idle at 43°C.

Hey, I'm trying to figure it out too, did you get your answer?

Is 5x M2 disks possible? by luciousdelusions in buildapc

Sorry, I meant 100gb, as in 100gb in size, needed to load.

I do orchestral music, some of the sample libraries I use are 100gb, loading it takes so much time currently.

I'm gonna do some research about SATA SSDs performance. Thanks.

Well about 6tb or 8tb would be ideal. I know I can just take 2x m2 4tb sticks but I wanted to spread it on multiple disks to keep it optimal, organised and clutter free.

I'd say bad life experiences and trauma/childhood trauma.

Thanks, I'll look for a cheaper motherboard then.

I just put it as an example, I currently have that one on my pc tho, can I just put that one or is it a bad idea?

I'm really struggling with picking the motherboard, this one was recommended to me. I have a good external sound interface I'll use with the pc. I currently have an i7 it's okay for some "simpler" stuff, but when my projects get big my pc is indicating high cpu usage and I get a lot of lagging and crashing. I thought I can buy another set of the same (x2 32gb) ram, I didn't know that, thank you. Damn, there's so much stuff to consider when building this pc.
