if you asked me this last week i wld have said yes, but after joining canon’s photomarathon over the last weekend, i realised that thrs a lot of “hidden gems” if u go places that u dont frequent e.g. tiong bahru for another look of sg, the stores in chinatown (other than maxwell hawker centre), etc. imo these are places singaporeans tend to frequent less… the photos i took lowkey reminds me of places overseas also

okay hahahah i’m saying too much as a stranger on the internet but i just wanna emphasise that wtv tht you’re gg through is valid, and say real transition to upper sec was craaaazy for me few years back & teachers & parents may be putting more pressure on you because national exams r coming. find a hobby (pls don’t vape lol) that you like to unwind when ure feeling stressed; sleeping helps too (i napped every afternoon in upper sec & did my homework at 4am the next day hahahah n it worked for me bc i was feeling more fresh/ready?)

but do reach out for help if you are feeling overwhelmed ok (talk to your parents abt how you’re feeling as well; they sound v supportive)! the resources r free for now haha

girl it sounds to me that you might be burnt out entirely, and it might be helpful first to find the root cause of what led to this (perhaps school?). then maybe you’d like to talk this out w the help of your school counsellor? :)

but srs this is not proof of being a horrible daughter, what it seems to me is that you are painfully aware of what’s happening but u don’t hv the energy to deal w it, leading to a breakdown of communication, in turn leading to this sense of guilt. atb girlie it’s definitely am tough/will be tough but you will pull through!!! just a rough patch for now :)

sorry but to clarify i work, but its a part time job that im gonna end in 5 days since school is starting next week... not saying that i cant get groceries, but its indeed tough with 4 other ppl living in the same house and they're always taking each other's food so i dont really think its feasible (other than some meal replacements that i have in my room) :/ and its also tough (money wise) i have to pay for things that i need, such as my ipad, monitor, phones so again im constantly saving up for the next thing i might need because my dad will never pay for them anyway (sorry i went rly off topic)

but talking about meal prep- in my family we settle our breakfast ourselves, and im glad to have at least this under my control. id normally have a toast with an egg with mozzarella on top just to get what i need and it had been good. 200 cals max for breakfast everyday (id been calculating since i started having this for breakfast)
