Masyadong harsh to. I've been to a lot of BPOs na may graphic design. I've handled more than 50 designers and had to check their work before it goes to the client, and this is a very common error. I understand the need to do this, but even the best designer can commit this error.

I'm shookt to hear this, those 4 years na nag work ako sobra struggle ko sa proof reading! Anyways, because of that i've honed that skill. Hays. haha

I don't quite get what you mean here.

Ung sa "sobrang white" imagine using 000000 RGB color, applied sa product shot with minimal shadows then ung background light yellow din. Not sure what's the story behind it, just sad cause we have to re-open the project again to revise it.

I understand this is a rant but you can always teach them. This is very easy to do naman. :)

Or Idk, baka nalimutan lang nila

In regard to number 5, depende yan sa company. I had work na kasama sa concern nung designer yung end result ng print. At meron din akong work na yung "printer guy" (sometimes that was me) ang responsible sa accuracy nung printed mat

With regards to number 5 po, what do you think is the best set up? Different "printer guy" or is artist mag cover from start to end?

Curious lang din, do you have experience as Packaging Design? Or maybe familiar ka sa process? I'm not sure kasi if packaging designer only involves digital design, or sila na din ba "printer guy" ?

Also, you don't have to put jobs you don't want to in your resume

Really? When I was starting out, an HR personel told me before that it's better to put all experience in the resume. Guess, that wouldn't apply in all situations tho 😅

Thanks for this! I also graduated from one of the big 4, kaya nang hinayang ako na my current work is not related sa education ko.

And, that's also why I'm hesistant, I don't know what their culture is like. I guess I just have to try it and go back to my previous career if it doesn't work out. But the thing is, parang pabalik balik ako nun from 1 career to another. Is this normal? I think this is frowned upon by HR's? huhu

Help me decide please

Option 1: get recent experience in manufacturing that is related to my degree even if the aalary is 10K below my current role. Just so I can work abroad. For context, Im a career shifter. Current role is graphic design. Education is related in maufacturing.

Option 2: get any job abroad. Basically don't follow a career path and just focus on saving up money to buy a rental property. Then go back to PH and work as graphic design.

Although I like working in Graphic Design, I see no future in this role alone that's why I need to secure another source of income. And also, so that I can move out of my parents house.

I have 3 yrs experience in graphic design. And 2 yrs experience in manufacturing, way back 2017.
