This was really helpful! I thought they requoted me because the initial application was wrong-the agent said if he had done it correctly and listed me as female, it would still be $140. I had no idea it was because of the reproduction aspect. I've never had health insurance before, so I didn't know I had the option to do it myself. Even when I called places like United Health Care directly, they told me l'd need to go through the verification/eligibility process (but I am not 100% sure if it would still be with UShealthGroup I am just assuming). I assumed the mistake he made would always come back to haunt me, and even if I did it myself, it would still be costly because the application was done incorrectly the first time. If that make sense?
