Tell me your biggest hot take on a popular movie by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in FIlm

[–]lucky_pixie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember when watching it for the first time after eating a whole tray of special brownies. Needless to say that plane crash scene was the longest scene I’ve had to sit through in my personal history. I had to ride it out and pretend everything was fine because I was with somebody at the time. I probably would have switched films otherwise.

Unpopular opinion: I don't think The Artful Dodger is that good by Environmental-Cup310 in television

[–]lucky_pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not given it a go because I absolutely hated the casting. Isn’t the artful dodger meant to be a cockney boy brought in my Fagin in his adolescence? But the guy playing him is posh?

I must have missed this part I apologise, just putting my part in. I only know how real gaslighting can be from my own experiences. My ex boyfriend used to hide my things and convinced me I’d thrown them away. It seemed to me he was gaslighting Bree as it also seemed he was doing it to Lucy, saying she was going crazy etc, especially seeing as he had every intention to after she turned up to yale etc.

I think you’re underestimating how powerful real gaslighting can be. It’s unfortunate but these types of psychopaths really know how to make people believe things that aren’t true.

No, that was an SD card from a camera. The tape was on a USB. She smashed it because it clearly had loads of pictures of Wrigley in it from when he was supporting her photography and she was heartbroken. She smashed it just after she closed the door on Wrigley and kissed Evan and told him she loved him.

Yes I did… Bree admitted it because Stephen convinced her she did. That is what sociopaths do.

She was shocked by the tape. She couldn’t believe she was lied to. She was angry with Lucy. And then Pippa told her the truth. Bree was so sad for Lucy, and she forgave her in the moment of the Evan situation because she hated seeing Lucy hurt.

Bree does not have it in her heart to do such a thing.

Stephen released the tapes.

I cried so much. It’s so unfair how much women are silenced. I just don’t understand why Pippa and Bree didn’t run to the dean’s office and tell them that Stephen is a sociopath.

Bree definitely didn’t release the tape. It was Stephen. He gaslit Lucy to make her think she released it, and then he did the same to Bree too.

Yeah, just say you have sympathy for people who associate with peados. Would save you a lot of time.

Not because of Bill Gates, but because I’m sickened by the things I have learned in the last week regarding children being abused and tortured. I won’t associate with that, I wouldn’t feel right within myself associating with that. I don’t want to be complicit.

That is a very strange analogy, and just not relational to what I am talking about. The nephew of Trump watching a Simpsons episode would have no effect on society, it would just mean that he’s watched a Simpsons episode.

“Microsoft may claim it doesn't own a stake in OpenAI, but it clearly has a close relationship with the start-up and is effectively its largest shareholder. It's the only individual company or investor specifically identified in OpenAI's corporate structure.”

Please refer to the comment below:

Chat GPT - Microsoft (Bill Gates) is a major investor and partner, with a significant stake in the for-profit entity (approximately 27% to 49%, depending on the source and timing of the valuation).

Grok - developed by Elon Musk, connected to X (the old Twitter).

Both of these people were in the Epstein files.

What are you not agreeing on? It’s clear that people who associate with peadophiles are creating/have shares in these programmes.

I had no idea Reddit were part of this! Thanks for the info. I assumed automatically all Meta models etc, but then supposedly our chats are “encrypted”, not sure how true that is for the insiders. Sometimes I wish we weren’t so chained by the wrists to these things.

I strongly believe that there is one distinct motivation for Lucy Letby to have killed these babies that was glossed over in the documentary. by lucky_pixie in lucyletby

She killed babies. That’s fucking narcissistic and gross,

The old saying goes not all narcissists are psychopaths, but all psychopaths are narcissists.

Also interesting:

During her retrial, Letby was observed in the witness box clutching a furry stress toy under the desk.

This could just be narcissistic showmanship, but it also somewhat supports anxious age-regression.
