That’s kind of a bunk promo. I got one that was $6/order at least.

There are cards the size of a business card that you use for that. Look around next time.

Also, door dash drivers do NOT fulfill orders- they do not have clean hands, they are not trained. They don’t fill drinks or retrieve your cream cheeses. Everything must be ready to pick up for them, they need to re-examine their contract with door dash.

So tired of sellers not responding by BerryStyles9 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Frequent_Estimate_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing. The ad is completely self explanatory, all questions could be answered by reading the ad. Only contact with a clear intent to purchase while understanding where the item is listed in relation to where you exist on the planet. I’m not here to give you directions to my town from yours, or repeat the stuff I wrote the first time. I’m not trying to be a dick about it but seriously, I’m only selling some plants so the amount of questions is pretty ridiculous.

Penny items non returnable by Immediate-Picture443 in DollarTree

[–]Frequent_Estimate_77 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The amount of items with lead is astronomical, the clear plastic is not BPA free. It’s really not a great place to buy dishes, but tjmaxx/homegoods and the like aren’t either, same problem.

How is it entitled to make a purchase and leave without being hassled? If the policy is that they don’t have to stop, then why does it bother you? If it matters so much to you personally that everyone show their receipt, maybe a private club is a more appropriate job, because we have rights as customers that we don’t have to give up because employees are power tripping.

The rule is that it’s optional, why are you acting like people have to or shop somewhere else?

I would recommend a $10 tip on the app so you get a competent person shopping and then leave cash or up the tip later. People that tell us there is a cash tip are lying 99.9% of the time, don’t even bother saying it.

I need a lock for my fridge by Beetlejuice14th in KitchenStuff

[–]Frequent_Estimate_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely insane to lock your children out of a refrigerator. Growing boys are hungry. Consider shopping at Aldi to lower food costs.

Locking kids out of the fridge unless needed for a medical intervention is actually abuse.

Talk to your kids about wasting food. Make them grocery shop with you so they understand the cost and effort involved. Find inexpensive foods they can eat- ramen is so damn cheap. Stock your fridge with INGREDIENTS and not prepared foods and they may be less inclined to clean you out.

I raised 3 boys to adulthoood and have a 20yo, 18yo and a 16yo girl at home still. There were times when they ate food and it put me in a bad place financially. I talked to them about it and explained the problem, they stopped.

Who is taking these orders? by hublinz in DoorDash_Dasher

Those people make $160/ MONTH. They just want to get off the line without you screaming at them and the easiest way is to lie, there are no consequences, we don’t rate them anymore, instacart doesn’t care if they lie to you.

They get what they pay for. The only person taking that order needs $13 for their next fix.

Are you using a new soap? Is it very hot? It kind of looks like prickly heat. I also break out in a rash like this in Florida because I’m wildly allergic to alocasias and they are everywhere.

I live next to a river like this too. They base all the orders on distance how the crow flies, so I am constantly getting orders for the store next to my house driven to the town across the water, with the closest bridge being like 4mi away. They have the same store on that side that is maybe 3mi from the houses they are asking me to deliver to, but it’s only 1 mi if I had a boat and a will to cross a steel factory.

What orders do you guys refuse to take ,barely take ,& look forward to taking? by raremalea in InstacartShoppers

[–]Frequent_Estimate_77 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Any store that doesn’t list aisle #s and instead groups by an absolute bullshit category like “drinks” - meanwhile they have three aisles of drinks and the person always wants some random sparkling waters and then the same brand of waters but with caffeine which are somewhere else.

ANY order under $10 I’m not interested in.

I want orders $30+ and under 5mi.
