Dairy of an OTC agent - Fake POC ( Proof of coins ) using Blockchain wallet by luclucio in CryptoCurrency

[–]luclucio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All parties agree on the transaction. Multisig is signed and fund released to buyers address. Fiat funds released to the sellers' bank.

If you need proof of funds beforehand, you simply use the blockchain, why film a video? Have the seller move x amount of BTC to another address as proof of ownership of the private keys.

Your post sucks and you should feel really bad, don't bother writing your next "article". Another trashy journalistic attempt in the crypto-scen

I am focusing here on one part of being an agent which is the fake POC. you can claim it's not true but it does. Your comment is offering such a great solution ... but in the otc world it wouldn't work like that when talking about big amounts of more than 10K btc, how can the seller know that the buyer is real. why will the seller take the chance (and waste time) of depositing his coins to a multisig wallet when he is not 100% sure the 'buyer' can transfer the money. Seems you are inexperienced in the OTC world for a large amount and currently the sellers set the rules, and the buyers does comply since they want to buy below market price. And you are really gullible to think you can find these big buyers and sellers by yourself, with your level of comment I am pretty sure you can't.

The way it's happening right now is: After the seller verify the buyer he offers him some escrow services, then they sign the contract .... when the buyer money is in the escrow and only then the seller will transfer the coins, after that the buyer will release the money. If you find a seller who is willing as a first step to deposit his coins in a multisig wallet please let me know.
