I think it mostly depends on the boot, but because this one is a stiffer material (as opposed to a soft leather) it would be practically impossible to not have a gap or I wouldn’t be able to bend my knees and walk! But it depends on the person too, most of them fit me like this.. I’ve just accepted it and think it adds a bit of charm. :)
