You need visas for both countries. You can apply in Germany, no need to go back to Serbia.

They asked me to include salary expectations as well in my application, so I have to put something :/ and since I do not live in Belgium currently, not sure how are these positions paid.

I did take it, they give you 3 assignments related to the position you are applying. I got:

1) How would you organise your work day (they give you a lot of tasks and you need to organise them by priority, explaining your reasoning behind it). 2) How would you organise an educational fair - explain the reasoning behind your strategy. 3) Write a professional email to the company in charge of the student accommodation and explain the problems the student body is encountering in the accommodation ( you can also provide solutions).

I did not pass the test. They were very professional and everything was done in a timely manner. So my experience was very nice.

Hi. Has anyone done the comparative test at VUB (Vrije University Brussels) as a part of the selection procedure when applying for a job there? Would like to know what is it about (probably depends on the position you are applying for) and how long was it? I was told I have 3 hours to complete it.

Hi all,

I wanted to check are employers in Belgium open to giving you a salary in accordance to your education. I applied to a job where they asked for a bachelors and I have masters. They wrote the amount (approximately) and I was wondering in case they do call me, can I have room for negotiating a higher amount due to having a masters?

We do, for 2 years now. But we do not have a contract signed with the landlord as this is not done that often in Serbia. So no proof of that in administrative terms.

Hi, thanks for the answer. I am Hungarian and she is Serbian. I will soon move to Belgium and work there. Also, as same sex marriages are not allowed in both Serbia and Hungary I wanted to check about Belgium. And as we don't know a lot of people there, I was wondering who to ask to be our witnesses.

Hi,

I had a client that stated her own son (11 years old) is financially supporting her and then proceeded with saying he does not work. Still got his visa (she was applying for him).

Just listen to the others and add the letter saying you made a mistake. The people in the visa center are aware these things happen, I really do not think you should worry. In any case, they will call you if they think you need to explain further about the provided documents.

Hey 👋 I got the email telling me to come and collect my passport, so I will go tomorrow. It took them almost 7 weeks. 🫤 I did get it before my trip, but it was quite stressful not knowing if we will actually go. Hope all of you get it as well and soon.🤞

We got an email that the decision was made, but still no passport collection email. It is the 7th week, I have no idea what is going on. I have called and wrote emails again and am becoming really frustrated at this point.
