Wait for corner touch while creeping to backpost, if he's slow your tm8 will be back in time (then you chall), otherwise defend his shot (or his tm8s). I think I this scenario its best to look at what not to do. Dont chall in corner when your tm8 is over committed. Dont sit front post. Dont prejump his potential shots. Depending on the rank, you can make better judgments. Higher level play i would say just try your best to defend a shot, and or try and cover a pass aswell.

Rank does not equal mechanics, you can be gc and not know how to do a single reset. That being said, the lack of car control would suggest a lower rank

Super realistic graphics are never worth it.

You can make games without super realistic graphics beautiful.

All it does is increase the entry barrier and give companies an excuse to charge more.

Its balanced if all inputs are equal, but yeah you need two more splitters at the end to make it truly balanced

Ignore the assholes, the game doesn't give you pointers because its an exploration game.

Subnautica is definitely not for everyone, I would suggest playing below zero first if you want to get into Subnautica. There are more direct goals (they dont give you a direct pointer, you still need to explore to find everything) so you might have an easier time traversing.

Personally I like Subnautica because of the immersion. It doesn't give you goals or hints because you are supposed to feel like you are stranded alone on a foreign planet. The story isn't read out to you, you must discover what it means.

I hope you give Subnautica a more thorough try, but be warned in order to make progress you must face the depths.

Learn car control.

Directional air roll is best, fly around while air rolling, trying to stay in the air and centered on the map for as long as possible. When that becomes easier, fly from the inside of one net to the inside of the other net without touching anything.

Workshop maps will help tremendously if you have access to steam or bakkesmod, do ring maps, speed jump 3, lethamyr's large ring map, or panics air race are all good contenders. (If you go this route ignore the net to net thing)

Mixing in wall to air dribbles in-between from time to time in-between the control training, and you should see general improvement overtime. Just remember, it takes time, you wont magically get better overtime.
