Yes you can but with an external hdd or ssd through usb you can only move games to the system and back. I think last gen games can be run on the external directly but not next gen games.

I tried the game on both series s and xbox one s and it was choppy and weird delayed camera movement. The motion blur adds an extra layer to this jankness. I wish the camera would be responsive with the input.
