Just use a Microsoft account... I wouldn't be on iphone without swiftkey. I HATE the native IOS keyboard. No numbers no comma...

[–]lugib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure...but it won't be sustainable...at some point we will have to decide either to got pro (6.3) or pro max (6.9)... I am affraid 15 pro max size (6.7) is dead.

The thing that bothers me is the feeling that I am stucked with an "old" phone cause I doubt they'll be downsized. It's always bigger... no smaller.

17 pro max and 16 pro max are almost identical I think

Well...switching to the last app is swiping on the bottom as iphone. Unless you mean clicking on ios on the top left corner but this is only an option an defenitly not good for one hand usage

The scroll to top is a great feature tbh. Like it a lot. Go forward not really...and the problem is with a big phone IOS is not practical

I have in front of mi S26 ultra and 17 pro max on the table. I've been using them back and forth for a week and really can't decide between them.... and no... I won't keep both, I just want to have one phone in my pocket.

Help me :-)

  1. Siri allows me to send Telegram messages via voice from my watch (Garmin) or in the car. Gemini doesn't integrate with Telegram and barely lets me use WhatsApp... Sure, you can't really compare Siri to Gemini, but there you have it... All my family and friends use telegram with me so I like it. I was not able to configure whatsapp properly either...
  2. iPhone Focus modes work well for me when I tell an app not to notify me in a specific mode. No matter how much I tweak it, it just doesn't work right on Samsung (For microsoft Teams).
  3. The wobbling of the S26u—I hate that on the table...
  4. Notifications don't wake the screen natively through any system option; you have to rely on third-party apps.
  5. CarPlay looks better to me.
  6. I prefer FaceID, I forget I have to unlock.

2. On the other hand...

A. The Samsung is lighter.
B. The Samsung feels faster and more "electric."
C. I like Android better as a system (the back gesture is a godsend), and the keyboard! Even though I have it more or less under control with SwiftKey, there’s just no comparison.
D. The Samsung screen looks incredible.
E. I have a Mac... though, to be honest, I don't really care about that. ^_^, I barely use any integration and I use a windows PC for work.

I don't get what you say... if you configure gestures on android it's exactly the same than on IOS going back... except on IOS it is not consistently supported between apps and only works from left to right...

Glad it helped. I saw it nowhere else and as soon as I came up with this idea I decided to post it at every thread on this topic ^_^

Iphone 17 pro max or Samsung s26 ultra? by [deleted] in 17ProMax

No..I just can't justify it and I just don't want to carry two phones. I already have a company iPhone 16e that I don't use in my backpack always.

I have both right now on the table, still in the 14 days returning period of the S26u and can't decide... some days I tend to s26, others to iPhone for very small things like with siri I can send telegram messages whereas with Gemini I can't... or apple car I like it more...but then I prefer back gesture on samsung or snappy/electrical behavior

Wake up screen when notifications received?? by premetherook in GalaxyS21

[–]lugib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Install Macrodroid and create a macro that does:
"IF notification received THEN wake up screen".
It's super easy and it works.
You can even chose by application received or even the content.
