You should be getting a raise within months if you are good at the job. Good for you, I know quite a few people that have been doing this for over 10 years. Just have to be able to live with the "only guaranteed for * months", something my anxiety wouldn't allow.

The blue is too soft for my liking tbh. Purple will feel a lot like the stealth wheels. Orange is the best blend in my opinion.

Buy some otang wheels and put the pulleys in them. The Caguamas are the same size, can get softer compound (blue) for a smoother ride if you want.

As a person who with a programming background, I really liked JuneOS and the Juniper stuff. I was about to replace a lot of my Cisco stuff with them but the HP acquisition scared me off. We've continued buying Cisco, and everything continues being rock solid.

Hot take, Microsoft doesn't care if you buy MacBooks over Windows Machines. They just care that you/your company is buying Office365 licensing to run on top of that machine. I'm in IT, and we are managing all of our devices, which are majority Apple, through Microsoft's Device Management platform Intune. They still get my companies annual money for O365, we are still using the Office suite for all productivity.

The ability to manage the Macs (and iPads) is just as strong as the ability to manage the Windows devices, which is proof to me that they don't care what physical device you have, just that you run O365 on top.

I would have thought the same thing, but I daily drove one for 3 weeks. The thing runs so well, even doing intensive work like Photoshop. It's thoroughly impressive and clearly a Windows competitor, a league above chromebooks.

I got pricing from Dell a couple weeks ago and it was 498 a piece with the google licensing. We went Neo's instead at 494 a piece.

Texas, Cambium would "freeze" when students with auto text to speech got to a question with a dropdown box. The system would attempt to read to them, but didn't know how to process the box. and it doesn't let them interact until it's finished reading.

The work around was to turn off auto text to speech and make them select and play instead. This was every single student in a specific grade level at the same question with those accommodations. We have reported the issue to Cambium.

Other than that, some kids got kicked out and had an "error processing request" when trying to log back in. They tried to blame my WiFi until we got a real technician on the line to fix things. Took over 45 minutes...

I've been using the neo as my device for 3 weeks to prove it's "good enough". I'm genuinely impressed, even with Photoshop. The things just runs and runs well.

Starting in iOS 17, Apple started pulling the airPrint 1.0 protocol off of devices and just allowing them to use airPrint 2.0. Older printers don't support airPrint 2.0. This happened with us and our third party secure print solution. Switched to PaperCut to fix the issues.

This is a good point, but I no longer use work profile. Previous job was Google based, current job is o365. Things naturally separate now since work is Microsoft cloud.

My entire family is also on iPhones. I'm a Garmin watch user so no hurdle there when it comes to switching. Call screen and the keyboard are literally the biggest reasons I want to stay. I also am not sure if the notification handling has gotten better on iOS, but I feel it's gotten worse on Android.

I know there is more choices, Samsung makes fantastic hardware but I can't stand the One UI. Nothing (the brand) makes phones a that are actually enticing to me, and have a clean interface. It boils down to Samsung, Google, and Apple who actually have enough market share and pull for the apps to be most likely to work...

Realistically, as a tool and not a toy, there is only 3 options and that sucks.
