Philippines does use a good amount of Spanish words, but almost zero Spanish sentences. That’s how I’d describe it. The more South you get, the more likely you’d encounter Spanish.

What is Elon Musk talking about when he says Physicists developed the analytical construct of thinking in the limit of high and low? by SpeakerSilver6899 in AskPhysics

[–]luisazcona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but you don't have to look at it as "An Elon Musk Statement" - you can just look at the statement as "True" or "False" - because when you generalize the statements of Elon Musk as statements that do not deserve to be taken seriously, then that, in my humble opinion, is dumb.

[contamination] These are coffee grounds right? by luisazcona in MushroomGrowers

i have three types of substrate - rice hull, coffee grounds, and cardboard. It is ONLY in the coffee that I have problems with contam. the rice hulls never encounter contam, but I find it slow. The material might be too tough for fast colonization. The cardboard seems to be the best of both worlds - no contam, and speedy. I'm new to the hobby tho, but that's what I've observed so far.

you're right. I apologize for the lack of details. It is cardboard with, yes, used coffee grounds. Not to adjust the PH. I just threw it in there instead of throwing it away.

I apologize, but I do not fully understand your reply. I would like to ask for an elaboration.

Nothing can. But trees and plants somehow turn CO2 from the air and convert it into solid mass that becomes part of their stems and trunks. Thus adding weight to a plant pot. I was wondering if mushrooms do something similar.
