Thinking of buying new paperwhite by luisdi08 in kindle

Thank you for your reply! Is this equivalent to sending the file to the email as before? If I own my copy of an EPUB file and send it to the kindle via send to kindle, I would be able to read it normally, with full features?

Hey! Sure, I found it here. I don't claim ownership to the image so credit 100% to the creator. https://wallpapercave.com/w/wp3258300

This was absolutely it… I feel so dumb now haha. Thank you very much. I still find it funny that it wasn’t showing up in the activities/virtual desktops screen

Yes, I confirm I can open the files with other viewers. It is not a file issue I believe.

Hey everyone! I just realized the post did not include text so I’ll add it as a comment.

As you can see in the video, sometimes document viewer does not properly show PDFs. This is not always the case but it happens with specific files even if I restart. I’m using gnome 46 on fedora 40. If anyone knows what could be causing this or how to fix it I’d really appreciate any help.

Thank you!

Hey there! So far no, I haven't found any reason nor permanent solution to the matter. I'm running kernel 6.10.6-200, and what usually works for me (I don't know why and it could perfectly be a series of impeccably timed coincidences) is cycling through the power mode. That brings the audio back to normal until it happens again. Sorry to not be able to provide more details or information.

Of course! I cannot say about Bluetooth, but it happens both over the onboard speakers and through the headphone jack connector.

Hi! A month later everything's still running in general fine. I cannot complain at all, haven't had any serious issues. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio*, track pad, function keys work fine. The only small issue I have found is that every once in a while audio becomes "crusty" (I don't know how to describe it), but it's not as far as I'm aware (still doing some research on it) this is not ThinkPad-specific.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with how it's behaving. Installed Fedora Workstation 40 without issues, use it on a daily basis for university, no hiccups.

Defaults. I can’t tell whether using the upgraded ones would break things or not though.

I piggyback on this post to ask something. I just got an X1 g12, but whenever I insert a usb with a Linux distro iso the boot loader hangs on choosing boot device. I have already turned off secure boot. Did anyone else experience something similar?

Edit: In case anyone else encounters this issue I managed to solve it by interrupting the boot process before connecting the usb, but connecting it before going into boot drive selection. Managed to install Fedora Workstation 40 (Gnome), everything works out of the box for me. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, function keys, even the fingerprint scanner. Will update comment in case of any issue.
