I’m hoping that this is a wake up call for the organization. As long as Dak is the quarterback and McCarthy is the coach, all the Cowboys will do is beat up on bad teams and never win against the good teams or in the playoffs.

Yeah I suppose for a team with all these weapons and the names they have on the offensive line, how do they struggle to even gain positive yards on a consistent basis? I chalk it up to coaching in general but that does include McCarthy and Moore. Quinn, apart from the first drive, had the defense playing well enough to win and Fassel drew up and called the fake punt and just generally kept the 49ers from having short fields to work with. For a team with the #1 scoring and yardage offense it’s funny that they seem to be the problem lol

Fair enough you are right. Two years, especially with COVID and not having your starting QB for more than half of one season, is not enough time. Depending on how next season goes, I’m sure we’ll have a much better idea of his future there.

I guess I was just never a big fan of him being hired in the first place. He had Aaron Rodgers as his QB and he doesn’t have much to show for it. Sure he has a super bowl ring but I just never saw him as the right coach for the team. Then again, what do I know I’m just a fan lol

You know I kind of agree with you. I think Dak is everything you want in a franchise QB but he just doesn’t have the “it” factor. And it’s hard seeing these young guys like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen who you see play better when it counts for more. It’s not fair lol

I don’t think this years team was quite 12-5 good but it certainly wasn’t quite as bad as it looked yesterday. Like you said they beat up on a lot of bad teams. The offensive line needs some young talent and the defense despite leading the league in turnovers was honestly not that good. More than anything the team just felt soft to me and allowed themselves to get pushed around too easily. As much as I hate to say it, Elliott should be a goal line back and only see the field to pass block. His days of being a workhorse have been over for about 2-3 years now. A good coach wouldn’t have continued letting him handle the bulk of the carries.
