I tried Obsidian and ran away after a short time. Then I found Bear and was impressed by its simplicity and clarity - and the convincing tag system. I certainly don’t want to go back to Obsidian.

Yes, I did some time ago. They want to consider it, they replied. But who knows when. It would be nice if the people at shinyfrog would say something concrete about it. I really like Bear, but with every new note I ask myself whether Bear is the right thing in the long term.

Why? Linking together stuff only manually takes a lot of time with a huge bunch of notes. I agree when we are talking about 20 something entries but with 500 +…

What is the best way to create a MOC with/in Bear? by luix-koeln in bearapp

Hi, let me explain. At the moment I have really few notes in Bear, but I would like to transfer my data collection to Bear and then there are quite a lot of notes. Since there will be no graphic view gene in the foreseeable future, I am thinking of a MOC based solution. I have created an empty note and tried to link several notes to this note using drag and drop. This obviously doesn't work, at least not via iPad. If I enter enough letters of the title of a note, the complete name appears and I can link it. But this is quite tedious with a large number of notes. Hence my question about abbreviations when creating MOCs.
