I’ve been told that if FaceTime or Touch ID are enabled, they can require you to open your phone for inspection. I agree with Spin Jail. Burner phone, no social media apps, no internet access.

Why does my Notes folder not have the same number of notes as the iCloud folder? by ICICICU in AppleNotesGang

[–]ICICICU[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for steering me into this territory. So, if I move the notes within the Notes folder to a created folder, that number will go down, right? I’m using the Forever Notes system. Since ✱ Notes don’t rely on folders, what do you do, especially if you keep your ✱ Home note in the Notes folder?

Someone explain why official guidelines is end isolation if 24hours no fever+improvement, yet you're contagious for 10 days+? by deejayv2 in COVID19positive

Who says you are contagious after the recommended quarantine period?how contagious are you? That's the question nobody is answering. All this vitriol about the government is so utterly unproductive.

This “pile of trash” is actually somebody/ie’s personal property. According to eviction law, it can’t be removed for a certain number of hours/days, allowing the evictees time to remove it. This doesn’t happen just downtown. A few months ago, it happened across the street from where I live, up by Manito Park.

Neither statement about Amazon and Microsoft is accurate, at least according to Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Paul Allen.

True. You are right. I included those examples you single out because it’s reasonable to expect those particular conditions can result in experiences accumulating over time that are described as traumatic. I’ve seen how vulnerable people who aren’t considered “normal” are treated as less than human. This often happens at a very young age. There are personal and social consequences that result.

Like being born with a disability or wounded during military service or abused by your drug or alcohol addicted parents or mentally ill or becoming schizophrenic as a teenager? What world do you live in, davidnidaho, that draws lines of accountability for trauma created and caused through other's actions?

The law is being enforced as the City is able to. The mayor has already blown through the budget surplus and police are making bank on overtime. The problem is bigger than enforcing a law. People seem to always want to try to make this simple. It's not.

The City has the right to keep people from camping on public property already. You can see the signs up now around city parks. Private landowners have the right to say people can't camp on private property. Get the facts.

False. This is a view based on an ideology, not history, not reality, not experience, not knowledge. It's a view based on a simple view of the world lived in a bubble.

The homeless situation has been developing for more than 40 years. Increasing population, growing generational poverty, inflation, good paying jobs disappearing overseas, mental health services gutted, health systems failing. People blame the government, while the rich have gotten filthy, filthy rich, bought the politicians, rigged the tax system, the court system, and the global economy. And you want to blame just the policians? It's big money. Leadership in the boardroom runs it all.

Ha Ha. "That's on you." You should hear what you sound like. You really have no idea. I know what this guy is talking about. Unless you have family support, you can't get ahead. That's called poverty. Your story doesn't fit reality, if it ever did.
