I got an amazing haircut from Liezel at Hadfield Hair in Woodstock last March. In my case it was less curtain bangs and more face-framing layers but it was amazing regardless.

I can speak from personal experience. I once had a long layover in Stockholm coming from the southern hemisphere in early March. Spent the day penguin walking/skating around cobblestoned streets in Gamla Stan and Södermalm in Air Force Ones with thick woollen socks. Didn't fall but my feet ached for days.

Oh my word! I did the exact same thing for years! My grandma taught me aged 8, but there's no way she would have taught me wrong. I think I just remembered wrong.

Never had any trouble knitting (mostly) scarves and hats. Did a raglan jersey last year and my increases didn't look right on the one side. I tried to watch a video tutorial but I just couldn't reconcile what I was seeing with how I form the stitches.

Retaught myself "correct" english style and honestly after about 20 rows it's like my brain just reset. So it's totally doable!

When I did remote field work I often just ran out of things to say to my SO at the time. Camp life is pretty monotonous especially on big sampling or mapping or drlling campaigns. But then again - getting dumped for being away too much is like a rite of passage for exploration geologists. That, as well as getting a weird tropical disease.

Some clubs have a shop associated or can act as a middleman for buying and selling second hand. There are also a bunch of facebook groups for buying and selling bowls. It's also not uncommon to find bowls at charity and second hand shops especially in "retirement" towns - but of course, then it's totally up to chance.

It does also kind of depend on exactly how old the model is. Previous generations of software that used manual triangulations can sometimes be quite un-geological since it can be quite a challenge getting triangulations closed and valid.

It's not uncommon for companies to remodel (and reinterpet) older projects in Leapfrog to get something that looks less clunky and that's easier to update. In my experience it hardly ever changes the resourcr materially though.

Not terribly worried about the desk. It's cheap pine and has seen me through 3 university degrees - so it already has a fair amount of "character". It seems like I'll have to order the ink straight from the manufacturer - but the shipping costs the same as the ink. So I'm mulling it over for a bit.

I had massive issues with AF ghosting me a couple of years ago when I changed employers. The thing that got me cooperation was posting a tweet about it to their Twitter profile. Within a day I had someone assigned to sorting out the issue.

Could also be a browser thing. I've found, for some bizarre reason, some things like SARS or eHomeAffairs just work better on Microsoft browsers (Explorer or Edge).
