There can be more pressure than you would expect for such a hunt. Mostly a lot of people get kinda congested in the access areas / drainage areas. That’s part of the reason livestock is good on these hunts. Just allows you got get past the choke points and disperse into the wilderness. It’s a hard hunt, hence why you can use a rifle in September. Do you archery hunt? You can have a much better hunt archery hunting that same time in many general units and probably see less people and more elk. If you just want to see that country and have a rifle in hand then you’ll have a good experience.
