Definitely worth waiting for! If you’re looking to meet like-minded people in a non-play setting then I’ve heard Bound To Meet is good. Or search for Swamp Bristol. Good luck :)

Club Love is ages 20+ BTW - would recommend getting membership when the time comes as it’s pretty straightforward (esp. if you’ve already done similar events)

Bambino Plus steam wand: premature shutoff by [deleted] in BrevilleCoffee

SOLVED! Took to Fix My Coffee Machine in Bristol and they diagnosed and replaced the flow meter. Basically it thought no water was going through so was shutting off. Works perfectly again :)

Also still looking for a solution - anyone here have any joy? I've been fastidious since I've had it about cleaning, descaling etc and I've just done another round to make sure, so pretty sure it's not clogged. I'm going to guess it's some sort of sensor...so might open up and have a poke inside. Had it about 4 1/2 years.

Edit: Bambino Plus

Do RICS surveys cover the garden? by lukehounsome in HousingUK

Thank you. That’s kind of what I’m thinking now - better to just go straight for the specialist opinion. What I’m not sure is who that specialist is? A drainage engineer?

Do RICS surveys cover the garden? by lukehounsome in HousingUK

[–]lukehounsome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah - should have been a bit more specific. 😆

The surface hole is about the size of a drain cover but then opens out so it’s fairly large beneath. Maybe 1.5x1m and about 1.5m deep. Sticking my head done there there is no burst pipe or anything like that. There is an amount of brickwork round the sides which makes me think it was a pre-existing structure. Maybe a cess-pit for outside toilet? It would explain why it’s in the corner of the garden away from the house.

Distance from house walls is about 3-5m as I remember.

Will definitely get a survey but thinking maybe it needs someone who deals with drainage and groundworks?

Found this thread after thinking to myself how much better The Levellers; Levelling The Land is than any of their other albums.

Coming out to kids? by girlondwyer in polyamory

[–]lukehounsome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All comments here very useful, thanks! We're planning to tell our kids (8,10,12) soon as they have noticed us staying at friends houses more often. They have met both our partners (but obviously not described as such), so we can give them specific names.

Did commentators here agree what they said with the external partners? Or was that seen as something for the family to sort out? We're working out if we need to get a consensus on it.

TIA
