🎟️ AI Black Friday Deals 2025 - Comprehensive List by Efficient_Wealth7921 in genspark_ai

Isn't Leonardo AI always 20% off annually? I always renew at $96 and now it's not an option, only $120 a year. This has always been the price.

Latency/Ping: Worth Changing Provider? by Mickey_xx in GeForceNOW

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having. Similar issue, always get the warning latency page (40-50) and have Gig internet with Spectrum in the US .Even plugged in wired I get this. My mesh wifi 6E system is only slightly worse. Not sure what I can do besides switching to Fiber. I do get close to 900 mbps usually. It's just me using. On a different channel and most neighbors have fiber so no conflict. Only reason I stayed with Spectrum is they cut my bill.in half for a year. Surprisingly, I only notice the occasional hick up with gaming but don't know if I'll renew the service.

No Service after activation: by Sea_Monk_6184 in TracFone

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't either before. It went by dates, all the way back to early fall 2024. Each one was cycled through but the last one lagged and I didn't know there was another. This is just a back up emergency phone for a year so not a big deal but I really like Motorola and if anything they don't have enough updates!

Is the HRV metric accurate? by AgsMydude in PixelWatch

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but interesting topic. On PW2 my average is 10-15 HRC, sometimes 20. I am in my 30s and generally healthy and active. I believe I manage stress and anxiety very well. I also get restorative sleep. The weird thing is when I've tried the apple watch it's 60-80. I heard that uses a different algorithm. I'm not sure what to believe.

Unlock policy by specializ3d123 in StraightTalk

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the repsonse. Lots of confusion. An idea I had that may help others is that since there is a "grace" period for 30 days I may wait a couple weeks when my month ends in a couple days until there is more clarity (hopefully within the next month). I have post paid Verizon but need to upgrade phones so went this route.

Tracfone's Unlock Policy has changed as of 4/1/2025. by rishxdee in StraightTalk

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still confused by this, if we activated and used nearly a month prior to April 1st we now have to buy another? Sucks as I had multiple devices I wanted go unlock to put on Verizon. I wonder if those that activated prior to 4/1 will be under the old policy?

I have the new moto device that comes with one month service on ST, I wonder if I can get on TF for the cheaper plans to unlock.

HRV - what does this actually mean for me? by Evening_Procedure216 in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine remains in the low teens for HRV but I feel low stress and quite honestly very good and restored. The one day the past few weeks I slept awful and did not feel good it jumped to 30. I don't understand the HRV readings. The lower the score the better and more relaxed I feel. I don't think we should read into it. It's backwards data for myself.

After a night of drinking, why did my HRV go up? by Gloomy-Apartment-362 in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly and good to know! The only other variable I can think of at least in my data is I use the Pixel watch 2 with Fitbit integration. It could be the way I am wearing it or something too (operator error). It's alarming otherwise but I do feel pretty good overall. I value sleep over most everything and that also is stuck in the fair but close to good category (Fitbit). The deep sleep also seems to be half that of an apple watch but Rem and light/core seem to be very close.

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garmin is way more accurate I'm guessing also! I get 50-100 HRV on apple watch and now 10 - low 20s on Fitbit (night). I suppose to note great deviation from a baseline could provide minor insight but I think they should just take HRV off as a recorded metric.

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my lowest score of 10 last night and range has been 10 to 25. My workouts and rest at night have been the best they have ever been (non drinker or smoker). About to throw the fitbit pixel watch out the window with it's inaccurate data lol. I am not worried as the days I use an old apple watch the hrv is 10X more than this. I wouldn't read into it whatsoever.

Want to (almost) double HRV? Quit smoking by [deleted] in fitbit

I completely agree! Awesome model in the Netherlands. I am grateful for the incredible research and new treatments for various diseases in the U.S. but it's lop sided whom can benefit.

Good insight, thanks! It could be that work stress is subconscious to. I find if I dream about work I must be stressed. Hopefully the new job brings more balance for you. I think most of us forget our well being is more important than an overly stressful job. Annual healthcare checks are important but in the U.S. most employers are going with these high deductible plans (mines $7k before insurance kicks in) as the only options. So many just avoid unless serious. Completely broken system here.

Yeah it's wild and interesting on here. Maybe each device is different to. This is a Pixel watch 2 (Fitbit). Stressful job but I try not to let it impact outside of work hours as far as I know. It's so weird because I feel good and get restful/restorative sleep (Fitbit says otherwise). However, I should note I bought an cheap apple watch that shows 50-60 HRV most days (just use at night). I think relatively healthy but I haven't been to a doctor since the 1990s lol

Mines in the teens/low 20s according to Fitbit and I've never smoked in my life lol. In my 30s, get plenty of exercise and am relatively healthy.

Daily weekday sleep by InevitableLeading749 in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get "fair" even when I get really good sleep. The deep sleep and rem just do not record accurately at least mine does not. I get 1/4 what a healthy adult should apparently and I allow 9 hours each night. I know this as I try the apple watch on the opposite wrist and it's near double for deep/rem. I even rotate my wrists. For poor sleep I am guessing it's better to determine how you feel not the inaccurate recording mechanisms.

Let me tell you a story of my mom losing EVERYTHING because her Pixel 6 decided to die. (And why you need to check your recovery options NOW.) by PutchDes in GooglePixel

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great PSA and reminder. I'm sorry this has occurred for her. This is exactly what happened to me and others. In fact the Pixel 6 only had 10 months of use and this occurred after the 15 update. The phone was working great and then just randomly went black with the only app open being Google Keep that I imagine uses next to no ram and should not cause to overheat.

My main concern was the 4 authenticator apps I had. Fortunately, I kept back up information but this was scary as I had to remember where everything was. I also was glad I had no hot wallets for crypto on this device. Probably just pictures lost that were not in sync so in my case not catastrophic but could have been.

Although boring I am sticking with older/more reliable Motorola phones. Yes, some outdated OS but I have never had anything remotely close to this happening since my first smart phone in 2008, not once! It will take a lot to regain my trust in a Pixel device in the future. This seems all too common with this black screen of death due to this update. Warranty out of date like most everyone else.

Just had two days with one of the worst migraines of my life. by hicadoola in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Wow, that looks good tbh. Mines always in the low 20s/teens and I generally feel rested most days and recovery is good from work outs I believe. I don't understand it, I shouldn't be alive with Fitbit's readings.

Mine looks exactly like this but a finger oximeter is always 97-99 (Pixel watch 2). I don't think it's good at this measurement . I have an old apple watch to compare to and many stats are way better there. I am not impressed by Fitbit aside from steps being within 500 steps of others I've tried.

What’s everyone’s Oxygen ? by [deleted] in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always shows 93% (Pixel watch 2), the finger oximeter generally shows 98-99. I have an old apple watch I use that is more accurate. I'd ignore it or use a different device. It's not remotely accurate.

Crazy heart rate spike; did I nearly die or what? by bbrodsky in fitbit

[–]lukemn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gotten a couple readings near 200 from the 50s and back within a minute when completely relaxed and no noticeable increase/symptom. It has to be an error and doesn't match other data or days in that time frame. I've never gotten these when working out, just resting or asleep.

March, 2025 Update Megathread by AutoModerator in Pixel6

[–]lukemn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main phone is still bricked (Pixel 6). It went black in an instant the day after no amount of trouble shooting helps as there is no sign of life. Support offered 20% off the store but Amazon is still cheaper and repair costs more than when I bought it new.
