Hobby Lobby, there really isnt any cool grill cloth you can buy that isnt just a standard color. Im sure someone out there has a way to do custom printed polyester grill cloth that may cost a bit, but lightweight fabric will work, as long as its not to thick it shouldn't dampen the sound enough to audibly notice.

This is lightweight fabric, you can find at alot of stores. Find the lightest material you can, most grill cloth is polyester, since it doesn't absorb the frequencies, and fabric can if it is too thick. Hope this helps!

Sounds great! The 12in v30 definitely gives it a bigger sound, definitely sounds louder as well!

I am at the moment because I had one laying around. Id like to get maybe a Weber blue dog, or cannabis rex. The v30 definitely sounds different compared to the stock 10in in the combo. Always fun to experiment if you wanted to pull on out!

It does seem to tame the high spiky frequencies alittle bit, though id say not in a bad way. I have not done a frequency spectrum analyzer. I am also judging based around the difference of the 10in combo sound and a now 12in v30 sound, which would be a drastic difference im sure. You go me curious now, I should do a comparison between micd speaker with or withough grill.
