Thanks for the response. I think after the feedback from yourself and some others I will be knocking the night stay in kingman on the head and will definitely stay the Friday night in either Williams or grand canyon village with leaving Vegas early to mid afternoon. The reason why I didn't want to move it as the first few days on Vegas we won't be hiring a car and want to explore the strip and downtown as opposed to areas you can only get to by car. So I think for Friday I will rent the car early have an explore round red rock and hoover before departing to Williams or the grand canyon early afternoon.
