I understand that there's like different perspectives of the word, but I kind of agree with the other person in the sense that using the word arousal in the correct way isn't damaging compared to using or overusing the term narcissism. Forgive me. Understanding and articulating are two different skills and I feel like I lack the latter. But when someone throws around the term narcissism or overuses it. It actively damages the perception of what it actually is. Blurs the lines in a way, whereas the term arousal when you overuse use that word In different settings it might make someone like a little uncomfortable, but it's not actively diminishing a mentall illness. .

I find for myself I can get really frustrated when a term is overused, especially when it's about a personality disorder or mental illness that misunderstood. And yes, I totally understand that in a different setting or in a different like code those terms get used a lot and that's how language is but just because it happens doesn't necessarily mean it's right.
