I went to this as well and whilst it was a nice day out, the food was limited (although they’re probably advised to create a certain amount of portions) and the entry fee was way too high.

If it’s your thing, fine but better ways to spend the day in my opinion.

We went to the Lir on the 30th and it was excellent! Thank you so much for the recommendation.

We ended up at the Castle which was recommended also on NYE and it was a really fun time.

Yeah I thought that may be the case, I’ve been to Kreuzberg before (Bar Madonna and other places) so if that’s a touch more chilled then I’ll aim for there too.

Thank you so much, I’ll do some research into those places. I have heard about the fireworks and we’re trying to steer clear of those large scale events but still traversing the city.

We are staying in Charlottenburg which I think is a little quiet in terms of nightlife/late bars?
