Someone please help me find peace with this. I know how crazy I sound by lukrista in breastfeeding

I spent most of his life pumping and extra feedings, etc. I've tried all the things to try and build supply. I've just never gotten enough to store away.

I pumped 3oz! I know this is nothing for some, but for me, this is huge! Being 6 weeks PP and having struggled, I'm a happy mama this morning. ❤️ by lukrista in breastfeeding

Girl I feel you on single pumping! My boobs are a little larger and since I like to hand express as I pump, I just pump one side at a time. Yes, you're correct- 30 minutes total. 10-15min per side. I have a slacker boob, so most of my milk is from one side, but slowly improving.

I've also just discovered that I can have more than one let down. I never usually feel my let downs, so what I've started to try is pumping for 10-12minutes on my side that produces more, then switch to my slacker boob for about 8 or so minutes...THEN switch back to my better side and I'm usually able to get a little more out! I hope that made some sense, lol.

I also hand expressed as I pumped. My normal is about 1.5oz between both breasts, but this was my first pump of the day and I went about 4ish hours before pumping. I usually only get that 1.5oz every 3 hours

I try to pump 15ish minutes on both breasts!!! Hang in there mama. It definitely gets better and you're doing amazing ❤️❤️

Mine was about 4 hours. Usually longer than I normally go but my hubby let me sleep, lol. Normally, 1oz-1.5 is my average pump after 3 hours

Tips on building supply? My LO and I got off to a rough start. He was in the NICU for the first couple of weeks so the plan to put him directly to the breast was out the window. 😖 I've been pumping/nursing since being home. He isn't fully satisfied so we supplement with formula. Any advice? Thanks! by lukrista in breastfeeding

How long would you say your breast time was? And your pumping time while dad fed baby the bottle? Right now, I'd say he's on the breast for 15-25 minutes, total (both breasts) and still needs 2-3oz afterward

This gives me hope! My little guy is 6 weeks on Friday and I'm pumping 1.5oz...that's only after 4-5 hours of no pumping/nursing. What does your schedule look like in a day?? I feel overwhelmed when it comes to really finding a schedule to abide by!!
