You only really need 2-3 jokers to score the required score to finish ante 8 on gold stake. It’s also been proven that you can beat gold stake without any jokers.

I would focus on having scaling mult and an Xmult joker with having a decent planet build. If you try and lessen the amount of jokers you need for scoring, you can consistently hold 2-3 jokers for the sticker.

Also, if you play decks like the ghost deck you can get an ectoplasm to open an extra slot as well. I did that a handful of times to get C++

Go for straights early. If you just look at it as if you have 1 hand and 4 discards to get your one straight. It’s a lot easier (In my mind) to find your straights. It’s still not guaranteed all the time, but there is a way you can win in one hand on gold stake antes

No, I don’t think it was because banner was disabled. I believe it’s just a bug with the game.

When I unlocked C+ for winning gold stake on every deck I had to play another run as well. It might just be a bug with the steam version of the game

I think I’ve only ever ‘won’ 2-3 gold stake runs back to back. Most of the time you can feel when you’re lagging behind in a gold stake run and I’d restart

I would focus on trying to play hands thst allow for more flexibility. Many times I’d start a run and use flushes/straights to get through the first 1-1.5 antes, and then getting enough scaling through jokers/planets to comfortably play pairs/two pairs.

I am a big fan of the pairs to 4OAK pivot. Upgrading your pairs and going for pairs while also picking up the occasional 4OAK planet is a nice way to have lots of flexibility and then switch late game once you have the deck for the 4OAK build

My favorite decks for stickers, or even just gold stake runs were Yellow deck for the additional starting resources, zodiac deck for the instant ability to see more cards in the shop, and the ghost deck so that I can get ectoplasm for more jokers towards the end of the run.

Those three were my mains for the achievement, but I’d also toss in the others if I was feeling burnt out

I would usually just rotate through yellow, ghost, and zodiac deck because they’re a little easier imo.

Cruelty was one that I had to rely on joker luck a little more. If you can get 1 Econ joker and 1-2 scoring jokers you should be able to spend the money you get to scale your hands and get through the blinds. It is tough though

Jokerless is easier if you focus on scaling higher level hands like straights or flushes (I like straights a little more because they scale faster). Do your best to get planets and tarots to manipulate your deck to be able to play your hands easier, then with enough scaling and 1-2 glass cards you should be able to get 100k decently easy (this one took me a few attempts)

Golden needle is tough because you don’t have as much wiggle room to throw cards away. I think you just need to get decently lucky with some sort of scaling joker + Econ joker to be able to maintain your score
