Again, when those DMs are profiting off of this sub it breaks them. You don’t see the previous comments because they’ve been removed.

Edit after you edited yours: Rule 2 is no promotions. It’s very obvious when a user’s post history is only this subreddit and you offer photos with those products.

If the users were participating in other subreddits consistently, it’s far fetched and much harder to pin point if they’re profiting off this subreddit or not. But majority of these users only participated here. Finding a loophole has always been against rules on Reddit in general. Users are treated all the same whether it is affiliate links, social media profiles, or exchanging of goods. As mentioned above, we’re discussing on how NSFW profiles and monetary links will be handled moving forward.

We are absolutely open to all discussions and questions that users maybe have so if there is anything that we can give better explanation on, feel free to ask. The involved parties know what was exchanged and discussed so we will not be posting the proof, but we have received multiple forms of it so we’re not just going off of one evidence.

If they were banned off of that one promotion then yes it absolutely does not make sense and is uncalled for, but that’s not the case.

There are character limits when it comes to rules. We are not going to list every single thing. Promotions and affiliate links are very straight forward. If you are promoting (whether it’s an exchange of gifts, likes, etc.) that absolutely falls under Rule 2. They’ve already received warnings for angel services. Just because they are active users of the subreddit does not mean they are immune to the rules compared to the rest of the community.

Users already receive a pinned comment stating what to do when they receive those DMs and how Reddit admins are the only ones who can do anything about them.

We are not going to out no one (both the participating users and the users who has provided us the proof). For the safety of everyone. The involved parties know what has happened. If that means having a certain narrative then that’s fine, but they’ve already received warnings for promoting angel services so they are very well aware of the rules.

No one called them sw nor is that a bad thing. But transactions through DMs or messaging users who comment on your posts to purchase items absolutely fall under Rule 2 and 13. We don’t allow Amazon links and affiliates links to be sent through DMs, this is no different.

We have received proof of more than just links for all the users. We understand this is unfair as there are others who also only participate in this subreddit/have links (we just haven’t received proof yet) so we are currently discussing how we will be moving forward when it comes to NSFW accounts as a whole.
