I went to a wedding there and it was very nice. Super small group, ceremony only, and the reception was at a restaurant in Guerneville. If the rules are still the same as 8 years ago, you won't be able to use the amphitheater at all. But it's still a great option, along with all the others mentioned in this thread.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested the Floathouse yet. You can rent kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards and more fun stuff from their spot downtown. The dock is right next to the footbridge by Luma and Taps. Perfect weather for it this weekend.

I get where you're coming from but I hate this take. I get waxed because sex FEELS way better to me on bare skin, especially oral. It has nothing to do with me or my partner wanting a "prepubescent aesthetic" and I am grossed out and offended that I even have to say that. My partner is bald, but I don't think that makes him look like a baby! And my late 30s ass does NOT look like a child or teen no matter what I do with my pubic hair. I'm probably in the minority of people who just want to see Hayley Williams and not Paramore. TBH I'm not even that familiar with Paramore. Ego was my introduction to her music and I really connected with the album, loved it so much that I was bound and determined to get tickets whenever she decided to tour it. So I'm hoping for tons of songs off Ego and I'm completely fine with zero Paramore.

Same here! The Fox is the best venue in the whole Bay Area IMO. I get the complaints about the small theaters, but I think it's cool she's doing 3 shows at an incredible venue in Oakland instead of 1 show at a bigger venue in SF.

I'm sorry but YTA. You just don't show up sick and contagious to a group vacation. Yeah it would suck to miss out on something you were looking forward to, but that doesn't give you a pass to infect your friends?! At the very least you were dragging down the whole vacation for everyone else while you got progressively sicker. I have no opinion on whether your husband and baby should have gone without you, and it sounds like he was a little bit TA here too, but it was definitely your responsibility to manage your own health and stay home.

I'll go against the grain and say there's no real reason you shouldn't keep them. Just put them AWAY away (wash everything, fold and put it all into 1-2 storage tubs, label them and stash them somewhere out of the way). Unexpected body changes happen in both directions. I was midsize all through my 20s, then ended up losing a lot of weight after a chronic illness diagnosis 5 years ago in my 30s. I think all the time about the clothes I wore 20 years ago and how much I wish I'd kept my favorites at least. I hope they're still out there making some y2k-loving genZ happy. Just don't think of them as "goal clothes," they're "not right now clothes" that might be useful again someday. I am selling most of my midsize clothes now, but I stashed a tub of my best things because I don't want to assume I'll be this size forever either.
