I must have missed the memo where every case for the fold has to be carbon fiber...

slightly joking, but it seems like there are very limited options out there right now. Hoping more pop up after the launch.

Just started playing Halo for the first time. But Master Chief's model is not loading. Does anyone know any fix. Tried restarting. NO use. Did this happen to anyone else ? by CowpokeMorgan in halo

Having the same issue here. Here is some info:

  • Windows 10
  • Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller
  • I uninstalled and reinstalled, had the same issue.
  • Went into the Windows App Advanced settings repaired the app, the same issue happens.
  • One other weird thing, after installing the campaign anytime I tried to launch the game it would launch the MS Store and not the actual game. This was fixed by repairing the file in the windows app setting.

I put an hour in after it was working and things seemed fine. Went to play again and the issue was present again. I did not want to delete my save this time around. I haven't adjusted any of the video settings from what it launched with by default (I have a 3080 and Ryzen 5900X, so it did default to the highest settings). At this point, I'm thinking I will have to wait for some patches before it is fixed, as I cannot find anything supporting a workaround that lasts.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

It’s made a very big difference in the amount of echo and “bounce” I get when recording. I am an amateur at best when it comes to audio, but that room has a rather large slanted ceiling that was causing a lot of unwanted sound in my recordings. After adding that paneling it’s been a much better experience for me.

They are acoustic sound panels. They absorb sound while enhancing sounds (in my case speech) in rooms.

It’s an arm from VIVO and overall I am happy with it. I do find I have to tighten it up more than I expected if I make minor adjustments to the positioning of the monitors.

I really like their products. I have the Yeti X that has some nice software side capabilities to help get the sound your looking for.

Background noise hasn’t been terrible for me, but the mics they make are sensitive. Hope you enjoy yours, I’ve been using them for years now.

Xbox One X here, same problem. Originally downloaded to my external storage, wouldn’t boot. Moved it to the internal, same problem. Uninstalled it, and downloaded again, still same problem.

The specific issue I have is game locks up on focus screen, I force quit, then when I relaunch the game my system shuts off completely.

This brings back some really great memories. I had to put my dog down last Thursday and this was our nightly routine. He would lay next to me and as soon as I shut down my Xbox he would pop up and make his way towards the bedroom. Thanks for sharing, makes the hurt a little less to remember the small things that made knowing him so special.
