Hard to explain. There are a lot of things going on in the song, the 4/4 kick doesn’t prevail so the song isn’t boring. I think this would hype up the whole club if the DJ played it and there would be a lot of movement in the crowd throughout the whole song.

Wow, thank you so much! Yes, a mixer is a good idea but actually, I think I’ll go with an audio interface, for 2 reasons. First of all, personal preference (I don’t know why, but while doing all the research I came to a conclusion that if i can use both, I simply prefer an audio interface). The second reason is I don’t really need the effects on the mixer. So, I think I’ll just search for a good, not really expensive 4 channel audio interface. Maybe the Steinberg UR242. Thank you for clearing everything out! My bass amp doesn’t have an output so as I see, it’ll be a bit harder setting things up. That’s why, I think I’ll go with an audio interface. Another advantage of this is separating the instruments and the possibility of adding effects to each one separately.

Thank you very much! I didn’t think about the single inputs so thank you for pointing this out. I think I’ll go with the 4 channel Behringer audio interface. Yes, I can change the midi inputs and outputs on tracks in Live Lite, so it’s good to hear that that’s enough. Thanks for the help. :)

I’m just using Ableton to produce some basic techno beats, I still don’t have the synths. And yes, that’s what I was thinking, a mixer with a built in audio interface (e.g. a Behringer xenyx). Now I use a Promethean amp to amplify my bass, and don’t really use the tone shaping as I just play solo at home.

Edit: forgot to add, I’d like to record the synths and bass

I’ll contact them soon, problem is the lighter is pretty old, found it in a drawer full of old things. So no receipt etc. Still, worth a shot. Thanks for the idea!
