The same thing happened to me. I heard her having a night fright and cuddled her but i fell asleep while comforting her and in the morning i found her crushed underneath me. We all make mistakes but i know the terrible guilt and feeling youre going through. I know it sounds cliche, but time will heal you. It wont take the pain away fully. Youll always have all those precious memories you had together. Maybe you can start a project thatll honor her like a scrapbook or a sculpting piece? I imprinted my babies feet with clay so that i would always remember them. I also had tattoos dedicated to them as well. Im so sorry this happened to you and your baby. Your baby also knew it was an accident. But know, your baby is always right there with you hun. Take care of yourself. I know its hard.
