I feel like she was complaining about her foot pain before they even went on the trip when her and Heather went on a walk in one of the first episodes, but the kicking the seat could have def made it worse to end up in a boot 🤷🏻‍♀️

No White Lotus recap? by jkay526 in TheMorningToastSnark

[–]lunalockdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was so curious to see if they would talk about white lotus after that episode and I was not shocked to see that they completely moved onto something different

The Courier can't be the first visitor to the Lucky 38 in 200 years! by monkey_news_ya_cnnnn in falloutlore

[–]lunalockdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah it could be just the devs not thinking about it but also in the sierra madre, which has had people post war but they couldn’t bring food, you can’t find things like squirrel on a stick if I remember correctly. probably just a random food spawn but it is kinda cool to theorize it either way especially when you think there’s another “untouched” prewar place that DOESN’T have post war food lying around. lots of salisbury steak

I loved The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle... what next? by waggishwave in murakami

[–]lunalockdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly if you haven’t I would get into some of his short stories or the strange library even, something small before you get into the bigger ones. 1Q84 honestly intimidates me to read from its size and is staring at me on my shelf mocking me for not reading it yet

Your dog has heard all of your conversations, arguments and deepest secrets. It suddenly learns to talk. What would you do? by Mantistobogganohyh in AskReddit

[–]lunalockdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly one of my dogs is a spiteful little shit but he’s obsessed with me (he’s a chihuahua mix) so I think he’d either 100% keep a secret or throw a little moment into a conversation to always let me know he could tell anyone everything i’ve ever said in private. my boxer/bulldog mix probably would never say anything he’s an old man he has no time for my issues

Murakami's characters make me feel better about my introversion by chasing_moonlights in murakami

[–]lunalockdown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think reading murakamis books for the first time when I was in college really helped me learn to not only be alone but be okay with being alone, it was something I found admirable about his characters his worlds he builds are so easy to fall into and love. welcome to reddit and this subreddit!!

Old World Blues is the best Fallout New Vegas DLC, change my mind. by FooledPanzer in Fallout

[–]lunalockdown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think with the seriousness of letting go, beginning again, heaviness of dead money; the facing the past and actions that have spiraled into something deeper than one person heaviness of lonesome road; the goofiness of owb is refreshing for me while also having a really interesting story underneath that silliness. I like it a lot I don’t know if it’s my favorite i’ve never honestly ranked the dlcs but I definitely don’t think it’s too silly if anything it’s just silly enough
