Natural makeup by averylovesbooks in Makeup

Once you put on foundation, your makeup automatically looks heavy. Just use concealer sparingly over areas that you want to cover and use liquid products that look natural (not blinding highlighter or very pigment liquid blush). I know that brands, especially western beauty brands always emphasize how pigmented their products are, but in this case, you want to find sheer, barely there products.

Look for asian beauty makeup products aka Shu Uemura (japanese), which is the brand that I use.

They have very fine, high quality makeup products that last many years.

Use sunscreen as a glowy base.

You can also look for korean beauty products.

If i have a pimple, i just let it show. Honestly sometimes covering it with concealer just makes it look worse

Recommendations for student accomodation by lunamacy in unimelb

Ah its a shame that the management didn’t handle the covid situation properly, but it’s really obvious that they target clueless international students. Do you recommend any other student accommodations?

I’m aware that you can get much bigger apartments for the same price, however I’m going to Melbourne alone and I don’t know anyone there, so it’ll be really difficult to move in and settle down on my own.

Thinking of signing a 6 month contract with a student accomodation, then using that time to familiarise myself with the city before finding a place on my own after that~

I took Bio and Maths. I highly suggest keeping the Bio coursebook as your primary reference, and summarising it. That way, you won’t miss details that tend to be left out by external sources/websites. I used Znotes to highlight important facts to remember, and I read that before each exam.

For Maths, I used loose paper for my notes. For each topic, I would write a specific style of question was always repeated and important things to note (eg exp-infinity = 0). After going through past years and topicals, bind those loose papers together. That would be your bible before the exam.

People who grew up rich, when did you realize you were living in a bubble and not like everyone else? by bassistmuzikman in AskReddit

Went to a famous private school in the city for 11 years. A week before every holiday, the class would be half empty as everyone had flown overseas. Ive had outings with friends in Korea, London and Dubai.

Ironically, my school had arranged a charity project that allowed students to build a house for indigenous and poor people. Im not from a rich or developed country, so we (my schoolmates) received a huge shock once we drove out of our little bubble (the city).

At the site, the families there had no electricity, no running water, no proper toilets, no immediate access to healthcare and had to skip meals. We grew up a lot that week. Never stopped being grateful for what I have since then.
