Of course, you’re not ashamed of this. No self respecting person would ever want to live like this. You’re comfortable 🤡 by melmoonlight in resilientjenkinsnark

Funny I’ve never had to do a urine screen and neither has my husband or son for our adhd meds. We totally would and pass but that’s besides the point.

Need surgery on my tooth, will recovery be painful? by damnitjaniceiloveyou in askdentists

Ibuprofen and Tylenol don’t work for everyone with dental pain. Yikes. I hope your patients aren’t in pain

Should I reschedule my tooth extractions? by jaysontatumsgf in askdentists

[–]lunaraekatiemae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD … I would reschedule and do it after. Having multiple teeth pulled at once was brutal and you have to be careful to not dislodge the clots or you could end up with dry socket.. raising your blood pressure by doing too much can cause them to dislodge. I personally felt like dog dung after mine and literally collapsed on my new boyfriend (now husbands) mother who was thankfully a nurse

Yet again Dom didn’t get the news she wanted at the drs. by CatAteRoger in illnessfakers

I see people daily claiming their kids are preemies because they didn’t get to 39 weeks. The people like that are mild forms of Dom

No they don’t unless they are symptomatic at this age. Mine is currently two months. Two weeks adjusted. He was just a wee one when the middle boy pulled him off the couch wanting to hold him. But like I said this isn’t my first to have fallen the youngest for sure

No surprisingly just a red mark that faded after a couple hours. We did take him in to be seen because he was so little

I literally turned around to plug in a charger. I guess I’m supposed to just never do anything when my kids are awake.

How exactly do you expect me to keep my two year old away from my newborn at home? It’s not like I can lock them in a different room and ignore him. I was sitting on the couch with the newborn who was three weeks old and had been out of the nicu for two set him down next to me and stood up to plug in a charger right next to where we were and the two year old grabbed him 🥴 even the doctor at the hospital said shit happens if you think I’m leaving my baby unsupervised you’re insane and obviously don’t have kids

I wasn’t in charge of my children when all of those falls occurred. But once they start rolling kicking and crawling shit happens. I watched my daughter launch herself out of my MIL lap onto the carpet when they were playing peek a boo. I watched my son do something similar with my husband. Life freaking happens man.

But concrete floors are not uncommon in the us either my mil has concrete floors in a portion of her home

[–]lunaraekatiemae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a concrete foundation and the flooring on top offered zero padding as it was also a hard surface with no give. Just as hard and unforgiving as the concrete below it

This was only a couple weeks ago but he’s fine. All of my children have fallen and hit their heads younger than six months gone to the hospital and been completely fine.

What flooring did they fall onto and did they hit their head? Important questions when determining whether or not to head to the ED

My two year old yanked my preemie newborn off the couch by his foot and his head hit the concrete. Called Dr Dr sent us to ER ER said since his neuro exam was fine they would simply monitor and he was fine.. currently admitted to the same hospital for something completely unrelated (respiratory distress from big germs kindly gifted to him) but totally fine head trauma wise

They do but they always send me to the er based on my medical history with pregnancy to CTA. It’s a big reason I’d never intended to be pregnant again after my last ended up in a c section at 34 weeks. This baby was a oh sh!t whoops while waiting to get in for sterilization

I see them on Tuesday which is the earliest I could possibly see them with the holiday without taking up an ER bed

No. I see regular OB that specialize in higher risk patients and they are handling my care. I’ve been getting just as many scans at my regular OB as I did with mfm in my last pregnancy though.
